Notes
The names of the days of the week and months of the year are not capitalized.
Use the ordinal number (first) for the first day of the month. Use the cardinal number (two) for days after the first.
Some Spanish-speaking people have this saying: "De hoy en ocho días." (From today in eight days.) to indicate the same day the next week.
Questions
Why do some calendars capitalize the first letter of the days of the week and months of the year?
One reason is because they appeal to people whose language requires the captilization of proper nouns.
