Verbs Used With Clothing
There are three verbs commonly used to state what one is wearing. They are
llevar, andar, and traer.
Llevar and andar are regular AR verbs. Traer is not a regular ER verb.
Verb Usage
To state what one is wearing (depending on the country one is from),
conjugate the verb and add the clothing word.
Example: Ella lleva ______. - She is wearing _____. (She wears _____.)
Use of Definite and Indefinite Articles
Use indefinite articles with singular nouns.
Do not use indefinite/definite articles with plural nouns.
Examples:
Juana lleva un sombrero. - Juana is wearing a hat.
Juana lleva zapatos. - Juana is wearing shoes.
Use of Adjectives
Adjectives must agree in gender and quantity.

Special Notes
People in different Spanish-speaking countries use different words for the same things.
Some people in Central and South America use
ANDAR for to wear.
Some people in Spain use
LLEVAR for to wear.
Some people in Mexico use TRAER for to wear.
